Living the Good Life Twitter Party

\"\"“Staying creative, productive, and inspired isn’t easy. Between the highs and lows of our work life, the continual transitions of our personal lives, and the rapid pace at which it seems we’re forced to live, it’s easy to lose sight of what’s important.”
– Charlie Gilkey

  1. Hi Ainslie, I believe it’s in the late morning. Instead of partying with a margarita you can party with some coffee. 😉

  2. Hi Sneha, That’s the great part of a Twitter Party. You can join in from home or on the road.

  3. Hi Sri, We love Germans. Well, we love everybody that joins, but it’s cool that you will be joining from a different country. Willkommen.

  4. Hi Diana, Oh yeah, it’s going to blow the roof off of Twitter. In a virtual sense. 🙂

  5. I’m game to try this, but I”m not a Twitterer, although I’ve had a Twitter account for some time. I haven’t signed up, because a) received an error message asking me to add some other stuff before the URL and B) because although jimburson.com is my URL, it’s not a website about me; I’m the behind the scenes person, so wasn’t sure if I should add it to the party.

Also, not sure I understand about being on a phone call & tweeting at the same time. How does that work? I clicked on the Tweet Grid & Twitter Search links, but didn’t understand what I was viewing.

Anyone want to be a mentor to me? Or should I just muddle along on Thursday?

  6. Hi Jennifer, There will be a learning curve, but just try to keep it simple. You need to follow the hashtag that people put at the end of each tweet. The hashtag we created is #LGLparty. You can follow this using Tweetgrid or type it into the search box at the top of Twitter. As you follow the conversation on the phone and on Twitter just join in – retweet other people, answer questions, and hang out. That’s it. Good luck and have fun. Check out my article – “What is a Twitter party?” to get a little better understanding of how you can join in and win prizes.

  7. I’m glad to support Charlie’s innovations and love a good party. I also love bringing a good cause to light and it sounds like a cool event for modeling… Mazel tov! 🙂

  8. We are glad to help guide you. The only rule we have is to have fun. That’s all that matters.
